International Education EXPOでは、日本国内の私立学校、インターナショナルスクール、ボーディングスクール、プリスクール、英語学童保育、英語および国際教育機関が集まり、参加型のイベントとして開催いたします。

開催背景

昨年、日本初の英国式ボーディングスクールが岩手県安比高原にハロウ安比校が開校しました。
今年はラグビー日本校とマルバーン東京校が開校予定です。

2020年の学習指導要領の改訂により、小学校で「外国語活動」が導入され、英語が科目化されました。
小学校の英語科目化により、英語4技能の習得と使えるコミュニケーション能力を望む家庭が増えてきました。

早期英語の熱の高まりは、乳幼児からの「おうち英語」を導入する家庭が増え、英語で学ぶ「プリスクール」が増加しています。

同時に多様性と選択肢のある学びとして、コロナ禍で中断していた国内から海外を視野にした親子留学や海外ボーディングスクール進学が再び動きが出てきました。

本イベントは、社会の国際化の進展とともに教育の国際化に取り組んでいる国公私立、インターナショナルスクー ル、プリスクールなど教育機関に興味を持つ生徒・保護者を結び付けます。

同時に国公私立のインターナショナルスクール、プリスクールの教師、職員など国公私立がお互いに学びの仕組みを共有することで広く教育の質を高めることを目的としています。

英語と国際教育の選択肢の幅が増える中で、お子さんと一緒に親子で参加できる国際教育イベントとして開催します。

パネルディスカッション：テーマに基づき開催されます。会場でパネルディスカッションを開催し、Zoomなどで同時中継されます。開催後はYoutubeチャネルなどで公開予定です。
学校紹介プレゼンテーション：参加校、団体による模擬授業など開催することができます。
学校説明・ワークショップブース：ブースによる学校説明会会場を用意しています。
メディア会見：本イベントでは、本部にメディア向け記者会見場を用意しています。イベント登壇と同時にメディア向けに記者会見を開くことができます。

Global Education Expo 13th May Now Recruiting Participants.

Global Step Academy (GSA) (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Michio Montgomery) will be hosting an International Education Expo in Tokyo on May 13th.

This will be an informative and engaging experience for attendees. It will provide a unique opportunity for educational institutions in Japan to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas in a single venue.

Participating parties will include private schools, international schools, boarding schools, English preschools, after-schools and other international educational institutions in Japan.

Event Background

The Expo comes at a time when the demand for diverse and flexible learning options is increasing, and the enthusiasm for early English learning is growing. Last year, Japan's first British-style boarding school, Harrow International School, opened in Iwate Prefecture's Appi Kogen area. This year, Rugby School Japan and Malvern College Tokyo are scheduled to open.

According to the Japanese government’s latest guideline on education in 2020, there should be an increase in "foreign language activities" in elementary schools and English is taught as a subject. This has led to an increase in households hoping to acquire English proficiency in the four language skills and the ability to communicate in English. As a result, preschools teaching in English and households introducing English from infancy have become more popular.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, parent-child study abroad programs and overseas boarding school enrollment have re-started again. International Education Expo aims to provide families with the chance to explore diverse learning opportunities and connect with public, private, and international schools, preschools, and other educational institutions.

The Expo also aims to improve the quality of education by sharing the learning system between public, private, and international school teachers and staff. Panel Discussion: Several panel discussions will be held based on specific themes that are relevant to the current state of global education. It will be conducted both in-person and via online platforms like Zoom. The discussion will be recorded and made available on YouTube after the event.
School Presentations: Participating schools and organizations can hold workshops or demo classes.
School Information Session/ Workshop Booths: Booths will be available for participating institutions to hold information sessions.
Media Press Conferences:A designated press conference area for media will be available at the event venue. Participants will have the option to hold a press conference in combination with their panel discussion or workshop.
